What Technology Do You Want To Learn Next

What technologies do you want to learn next?

What makes you interested in them?

One of the main reasons we programmers read books is to learn about new technologies.  When it comes to doing this, a good book can make a big difference.

It would be great if this book club was somewhere that Java programmers could find out about good books for learning the right technologies.

Please post a comment and let us know.

Node.JS (I know it’s not Java, but as a server dev I find it an interesting technology that can compliment a Java stack quite well)
    Java 7

Clojure – a straight forward way to get into functional programming (and an excuse to use Emacs)

Cucumber.java – the new version of the BDD tool for JVM development

Continuous deployment tools and techniques – building on the practices of continuous integration

OpenStack cloud technology – latest private cloud technology, helping with deployment automation and elastic computing

    Haskell – advance language paradigms

Ubuntu 11.10 – a great development OS and highly productive environment.
